Between 2006 and 2010 Timberland cut their carbon emissions by 38% while saving about $1.4 million through targeting their supply chain, efficiency improvements, renewable energy development and employee engagement. They have retrofitted the lighting in their distribution centers, headquarters and retail stores to help cut energy demand for those facilities by at least 30%.
